ABOUT ME

I enjoy spending time outdoors, whether it’s hiking, fishing, or relaxing by Lake Michigan in the summer. I also enjoy botany and taking care of plants of all types—my most notable are a giant aloe vera and lucky bamboo. When I’m not outside or tending to my plants, you can find me playing guitar, drawing inspiration from fingerstyle artists like Tommy Emmanuel and classics like Simon & Garfunkel. I’m a big fan of La Liga, and Barcelona is my all time favorite team—seeing them play in person is definitely at the top of my bucket list.

My most recent travel experience was visiting Oregon for the first time last summer, where I got to see some incredible sights. Here I am in front of Mt. Hood, one of the most iconic landmarks in Oregon. During my visit, I also explored the area’s natural beauty by visiting Multnomah Falls, a breathtaking waterfall with a stunning view. I loved rock climbing in Ape Caves, where I got to navigate through intricate underground lava tubes. One of my favorite memories is trekking the Salmon River Trail in Mt. Hood National Forest, also known as the Salmon-Huckleberry Wilderness. While I didn’t quite make it to the top of Mt. Hood, I know I’ll get there next time!

Fishing is one of my favorite pastimes, a peaceful way to connect with nature and appreciate the quiet moments outdoors. To me, fishing is all about the balance of patience and reward—each catch is a reminder that good things come with time and effort. I also enjoy hands-on work, whether it’s in labs, projects, or tinkering with new ideas. It’s fulfilling to see the results of hard work in action, and I’m always eager to learn and improve along the way.
